im from Australia, but live in Wien (studying at UW)

I drive a 95 323 TD sedan, but its not working at the moment! (lichtmachinen)

we have all types of Mazdas in Australia, but none of the diesel kind so i thought i would buy one to see what its like!!!

trucks yes, but cars, only newer euro ones. 323 is wht its called. we only got the 4 door hatch in the 94 model

must be great to live in a country where diesel engines are unusual and where you pay for the cubiccentimeters of an engine and not for the power.

You don't pay on the cubiccentimeters, but on the car itself, insurance is based on the type of car (whether people steal the type of car) and on the driver itself i.e. have you got many speeding tickets, driving history claim history.

The car itself, we have much more benzin engines because benzin is much cheaper (was) In Australia I always had Jap cars - Subaru Legacy 4x4 turbo, Nissan 180sx, Honda Prelude (2.2 Vtec). My first car was a mazda!

a rx - 7 bi - turbo were a beautiful car for me, but in austria, you can´t buy this car.

Trust me, the Series 6,7,8 Rx7 is one of the nicest cars!!!
THe RX8 is also nice!

Don´t worry about "bad german", there are also some People with "German / Austrian *gg*" called as their Motherlanguage, but sometimes it doesn´t look so!
Australia seems to be a good Country for tuning cars, especially engines. The Parts that are available would never see european ground, but in some "Tuning Magazines" sometimes you will find special Sites about Cars in Australia, most of them are more sexy than Heidi Klum *ggggg*

The coolest in Australia is, that it gives Nissan Skyline´s, RX-7´s... all the cars, that never build for the driving in Austria,...

And also the big red "munkl" in our country... *lol*

Remember. Australia only ever received the R32 Skyline and up to the Series 5 Rx7

BUT.......

We did start importing direct from Japan (old cars)
R33,R34
Series 6,7,8 Rx7
Toyota Supras (Turbo and non turbo)
Lancer Evolutions (3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10)
VIP cars (Toyota Crown, LS300)
Toyota Sprinters (Drift kings!!!)
we have Hondas that are turbo (B18 - integra , B16 - Civic and even H22 (prelude engines)

We do have a lot of Nice Japanese cars, but i must admit..

We dont get the wonderful Euro cars, especially in diesel!! (VW, Audi, Mercedes etc) the models we do get are very expensive!!!!

That´s the other side !

In Austria most people´s are drive mercedes, bmw, audi, vw.

We are the limosine drivers *gggg*.

Prices of benzin in Australia is about $1.20 or so (cheap when you convert € to $ but in reality its is the same, as prices here are very much the same as in Australia (i have found)
